In Taipei, Taiwan, Brooklyn Monk, Antonio Graceffo’s attempts to meet his hero, Anthony Bourdain, are thwarted, as his phone call is lost in translation.

Antonio is a huge fan of the book, Kitchen Confidential, as well as Anthony Bourdain’s TV series, “No Reservations.” When Antonio heard that Anthony Bourdain was in Taipei, he got so excited about the prospect of meeting his hero. But he forgot that there would be a Chinese receptionist between the Brooklyn Monk and the celebrity cheff.
